La Maison du Chocolat is a prestigious French brand revered for its artisanal chocolates, handcrafted in Nanterre near Paris using rare and pure cocoa. For this special edition, BaseCreate continued its longstanding collaboration with the brand to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the most cherished occasions in the Chinese calendar.
The design draws on the rich iconography of the festival: a luminous full moon, jade-white rabbits, lotus blossoms, and glowing paper lanterns. The result is a playful yet elegant fusion of French sophistication and East Asian festive tradition, a gift as beautiful to receive as the chocolates within are to savour.
